I%26#39;m trying to understand the MLB standings. As I see , it there are 6 divisions. Am I correct in thinking that the winners of each of the 3 divisions in a Leage along with the best placed runer up will compete in the LEague semi-finals?
In this case, Yankees seem to need to pick up 2 games on the Indians in order to clinch teh American league spot?

How does a team get to the final 4?
