NYC in Nov-Dec or Jan-Feb

A friend and myself were{and might still depending on what you all have to say out there!} come to New York from the 28th Nov to the 6Dec.However a few people we have spoken to have it%26#39;s terribly crowded at this time and prices are exceptionally high over this period. What do you all think???the only other time with can go is Jan-Feb....what are the pro%26#39;s and cons of all the seasons mentioned.

Another question...we are 2 single 29 year old girls and want to have the time of our lives...ie...go to great places to party that ensures us of meeting plenty of single men!!

Yes, the end of November, beginning of December is going to be more expensive and probably more crowded than Jan. Feb. However, it is going to be considerably colder in Jan, Feb. As far a partying and meeting single men, it makes no difference.

I usually go in mid-December and stay a couple of weeks. I don%26#39;t find the city too crowded Prices are high unless you book early (9 months) in advance for a hotel over the Christmas season. But the high prices may be worth it; the city over Christmas is beautiful and buzzing with energy, and there seems to be room for everyone.

Other folks will have to help you find places to meet men who are single and interested in your age group. I%26#39;m so many decades beyond 29. I have no input of value there.

It is certainly peak season in NEw York but just think of all excitement ,great decorations and energy going around 5th avenue , Rockefeller Center ..etc

Check decorations at 5th avenue and MAdison

Visit SAcks , Top of The Rock at the Rockefelelr Center and Lincoln Center

For party time , chek MEatPat district

Gansevoort hotel terrace

Thanks for all your advice...I think it will definitally be Nov-Dec!
