NYC over christmas

Hello folks,

sorry to bother you. We%26#39;re toying with the idea of visiting NYC again between the 20th Dec and the 27th Dec. (We%26#39;ve been quoted a great price.)

Obviously we%26#39;d be fine on most days, but can anybody tell me whether there will be things to do on the 25th Dec and 26th Dec with it being xmas?

Cheers now,

gareth

Yes! It%26#39;s not like London. Dec 26 is not a holiday here. We don%26#39;t have Boxing Day. On Christmas there are many restaurants doing Xmas meals. A few Broadway shows have performances. Ice skating in the park and at Rockefeller Center. Many NYers go to the movies on Xmas. There%26#39;s usually a blockbuster or 2 that open that day. It%26#39;s a fabulous time to be in NYC. Here%26#39;s a holiday guide from last year. Most things are annual.

The classic thing that we Jews do is go see a movie and go out for Chinese food! But, aside from that, there is plenty to do, especially on Dec. 26.

When you get here, pick up a copy of Time Out New York. It will list exactly what will be open.

Try searching ';tree'; or ';Rockefeller Center tree'; in the search box.

Well , plenty of them , ahve you checked the area around Rockefeller Center? , there will be a new observation deck

Here%26#39;s and idea.

How about going to church. As they say Jesus is the reason for the season. Why not wish him a happy birthday.
