cheap tickets to see 'the producers'

other than going to the tkts booths, is there any other way of getting cheap tickets to see a wednesday matinee of this show?

when we were in new york in sept 2001, i checked on the net (of course i cannot remember how or which site) and went to the theatre about an hour before the show and paid $20/ticket for balcony seats for a wednesday matinee of les miserables. what a deal! perhaps i got this because it was not a new show?

would it be possible to do this for %26#39;the producers%26#39;?

any hints or advice would be appreciated.

but they all expire on Nov. 6. If your trip is later than that, it%26#39;s possible there%26#39;ll be new codes closer to the date but if it%26#39;s around the holidays, you may not have luck.

If you%26#39;re a student, you can try for rush tickets on the day of the show.

';$25 student rush tickets are available at the box office only on the day of the performance, when the b.o. opens, subject to availability. Seats may have an obstructed view. Limit two per valid student ID.
