What is the best way to return to La Guardia from our hotel? We are staying at the Belleclaire on W. 77th Street and wondered if getting to Grand Central Station first would be easiest. We are afraid of getting stuck in morning traffic and only have backpacks. We have reserved one of the airport to hotel shuttles for arrival. I was born in NY 59 years ago but left at age 2 so this will be my first trip to Manhattan as an adult! I am so excited! Thanks so much. This forum is wonderful and I have read everything you all have posted on NYC.

Take a taxi. They will go over the Triborough Bridge to Laguardia and going to east side first does not help any. Traffic and time traveled will depend on what time you have to be at the airport and what day of the week it is.
