Among the best Sunday Brunch in NYC?

It%26#39;s been a few years since I visited NYC, and I remember that Sunday Brunch at Peacock Alley of Waldorf Astoria had always been very memorable. However, I don%26#39;t see the restaurant listing anymore, anybody has the scoops? Any recommendation for the current best brunch places? Thanks.

Try browsing through a Zagat%26#39;s guide.

Or check www.newyork.citysearch.com and search for ';brunch';. They might even have an article of ';best of'; brunches.

I have had great brunches at Balthazar in Soho, Five Points in Noho, and Jane in the Village. I believe they all have websites with menus. Also check out newyork.citysearch.com. They have ';Best of'; lists that I always find helpful.

If you%26#39;re looking for a buffet brunch which is not very common in NYC, Brasserie 8 1/2 on west 57 st is one of the few places that offers it. Cafe Botanica in the Essex House Hotel on Central Park South has a partial buffet (appetizers and desserts) with the entree ordered from the menu.

BBKings and Iridium both have gospel brunches with buffets. There are also jazz brunches if that interests you. Agree with Five Points and Balthazar. Here are some other ideas

Yes, sadly, Peacock Alley has closed -- a good year or two ago, I believe.

I third Balthazar - it%26#39;s just one of the best.

You might want also want to check out Artisanal at 2 Park Ave. (32nd St.) - this is a cheese lovers paradise, a real French frommagerie. A menu of classic bistro dishes as well as fondues and souffles.

Brunch at the Central Park Boathouse have been pretty memorable. It%26#39;s just such a wonderful setting! thecentralparkboathouse.com/sections/home.htm
